Conozcamos ETFRN
Establecida en 1991, la Red Europea de Investigación sobre Bosques Tropicales (ETFRN) es un foro de comunicación entre organizaciones, investigadores, instituciones europeas así como del resto de estructuras relacionadas con la investigación en el ámbito del bosque (sub)-tropical.
La red ETFRN persigue promover el compromiso de los investigadores europeos con la conservación y el uso racional de los montes y bosques en regiones tropicales, subtropicales y mediterráneas.
La red ETFRN proporciona los siguientes servicios:
La red tiene participantes en 16 países europeos, incluidas Noruega, Suecia y todos los estados miembro de la Unión Europea, excepto Luxemburgo. En cada uno de estos países existe un punto focal nacional. Los nombres y direcciones de dichos puntos focales están disponibles en Puntos Focales Nacionales. WHAT IS ETFRN?
Established in 1991, the European Tropical Forest Research Network (ETFRN) is a forum for communication between European organisations, researchers, EU institutions and others concerned with (sub-)tropical forest research. The ETFRN Network seeks to catalyse and promote the involvement of European research expertise towards the conservation and wise use of forests and woodlands in tropical, subtropical and Mediterranean countries.

The network has participants in 16 European countries, including Norway, Switzerland, and all European Union member states, except Luxemburg. There is an ETFRN national focal point in each of these countries. The names and addresses of the focal points are available under National Focal Points.
