Norwegian National Focal Point

European Tropical Forest Research Network 

(ETFRN)

The European Tropical Forest Research Network (ETFRN) is a forum for communication between European organizations, researchers and institutions concerned with tropical forest research. The network has national focal points in 16 European countries. The Norwegian Focal Point is currently hosted by the Department of Forest Sciences, Agricultural University of Norway, Ås.

The Norwegian Focal Point maintains the national network, distributes the printed quarterly ETFRN news to network members and interested individuals in Norway. The focal point also assists in compiling the directory of relevant European institutes and represents the Norwegian members in the Steering Committee meetings of the network.
