European Commission DG RESEARCH meeting on forest research for development
Brussels 20 – 21 January 2005

Funding sources for forest research
ETFRN, together with the UK Department for International Development, Forest Research Programme (DFID-FRP) has organised an information meeting in Brussels on February 4, 2003. This meeting informed the research community in Europe and developing countries on funding sources for forest research within the EC in general, and the FP6 in particular. A CD and a website were developed to widely disseminate the results of the meeting. The CD and website include documents required for the preparation of proposals in response to the first calls published under the EC 6th framework programme. It also contains an institution based decision support chart, information on funding instruments and reading guides for the calls. For information on how to obtain the CD, please send an email to etfrn@etfrn.org.
